After meeting with over 500 small business owners while consulting for Google and teaching night classes in Cardiff, Aled created Lumen SEO – an affordable and transparent agency that puts clients in control.
Five years on, with support from a team of eight, Aled oversees all of Lumen SEO’s operations, and leads on the development and growth of the business.
You will also find Aled working with local schools and colleges to encourage young people to develop their skillsets and consider entrepreneurship, through talks, workshops and interactive classes.
As our Head of Operations & Experimentation, Holly focuses on enhancing our internal processes and implementing innovative strategies to improve the results that we deliver to all of our clients. Through researching, testing and implementing cutting-edge strategies, she doesn’t just improve our workflow, but also helps to position us as leaders in the world of SEO.

With an MA English Literature (Distinction) from Cardiff University and BA English Literature (First), Holly has an excellent eye for detail. She uses this alongside her research, writing, and technical skills to consult and help businesses compete on the big stage with larger brands.
With 10+ years as a digital marketer and 7+ years as a sustainable business owner, Alice knows a thing or two about marketing! At Lumen, she will be managing client campaigns, and using that experience and growing SEO knowledge to plan and execute successful SEO campaigns.
Becca joined Lumen SEO as an SEO Account Manager, bringing over four years of experience in recruitment and account management within the engineering, manufacturing, and software industries. Her previous roles developed her skills in client communication, project coordination, and analytical thinking, which she now applies to her work in SEO.
At Lumen, Becca manages B2B clients while leading a team of two dedicated account assistants. She takes a proactive, experimental approach to SEO, conducting audits, overseeing content optimisation projects, and supporting clients with data-led strategies to improve their online visibility.
The newest Lumen to join the team; Nicole joined Lumen SEO in June 2026 as our B2C Account Manager.
With previous experience in education and marketing management, Nicole also brings some top-tier karaoke skills as a professional wedding and events singer.
Nicole will be specialising in leading SEO strategies for B2C service businesses such as home and garden, health and wellbeing and creator/influencer sectors.
With a BA in English Literature, an MA in International Journalism, and several years’ experience as a freelance content writer, Rosh is another experienced writer on our team. She specialises in creating well-researched and exceptionally written blog posts across a range of topics for our clients, and assists with other SEO tasks that help to drive organic traffic to their websites.
Lois is a Cardiff University graduate with a BA in English Literature and a certified proofreader and editor from the College of Media and Publishing.
She has spent the last three years working as a content writer, analyst, and junior campaign manager, and is now a Senior Account Assistant at Lumen, supporting B2B clients.
Meet Ben, our newest Lumen! Ben brings the perfect mix of creativity and entrepreneurialism to the team thanks to his experience as a Community Entrepenruship Coordinator and freelance photographer.
Ben joined Lumen SEO in February 2026 and leads on various campaign tasks for Aled’s group of clients across B2C and E-commerce.
Zena joined Lumen SEO as a Junior Account Assistant, supporting B2B clients. She has extensive experience in delivering client projects across retail, hospitality, and airline sectors. She is now focused on building her SEO expertise, particularly in organic growth strategies and delivering long-term value to clients.
Alongside her professional work, she explores content creation through personal digital projects, including blogging and running an Etsy shop.
